Djan told Glen he was going to Guelph for an opportunity to play as a quarterback.
He has a very good chance to be the #2 QB. Guelph has a 3rd yr backup who has played little and, if you recall, looked poor in the exhibition game at PEPS last year. Djan's experience as a starter at St FX makes him valuable to Guelph. Given his physique, he could play regularly in short-yardage and goal line situations.
For years, on offense Guelph has played as if keeping the QB from getting hurt is the #1 priority. Hopefully the new coaching staff takes the bubble wrap off of our 5th year QB Theo Landers. That is more likely with an experienced QB like Djan on the roster.
